Chris E. Fischer, NP

Chris Fischer chose to work in primary care to build long-lasting patient-provider relationships. He enjoys managing patients' preventive health, chronic conditions, and acute symptoms. After practicing as a medical assistant for six years, Chris returned to school and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Denver College of Nursing. As a registered nurse, he grew to appreciate the need for primary care providers and the role nurse practitioners play in delivering patient care. This appreciation led Chris to pursue a master’s degree from the University of Colorado, which explicitly focused on adult care.

Outside of the office, Chris enjoys being outdoors in beautiful Colorado. He likes running, hiking, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and his two dogs.
