About The Provider
Cathie is a highly experienced Physician Assistant and Certified Diabetes Care Educator practicing in the Grand Junction area, with over 27 years of clinical experience and more than 24 years dedicated to managing patients with diabetes. Her career in endocrinology has been driven by a deep personal connection—during her nursing education at New Mexico Junior College, two of her nieces were diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She specializes in comprehensive health management for those with prediabetes and diabetes, offering compassionate, judgment-free care that meets patients where they are in their health journey.
"I meet patients where they are and do not judge them in any way."
Cathie is a dedicated educator who advocates for preventive measures and empowers patients with knowledge to better manage their health. She is known for her empathetic approach, clinical expertise, and dedication to improving lives through personalized care and education.
Outside the clinic, Cathie enjoys spending quality time with her three grandsons, going on family camping trips, and cruising with her husband.

I feel fortunate to have her help with managing my longtime battle with diabetes and insulin pump issues, nearly eliminating the lows I'd been having for quite some time, as well as helping me with gaining back some of the weight I have lost. She's GREAT.

Cathie is the first provider I have found in the 43 years I've had T1 diabetes who actually understands the disease and how it affects a person. She is so smart and continues to learn more and more about the disease and the new technology and treatments that are available to people like me. She is wonderful.
