Carole R. Anderson, NP

Born in Germany as her dad was stationed there in the Air Force, Ruth’s family next moved to Texas for her dad’s next assignment. She then grew up in Fort Worth. Ruth completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Christian University. She spent the next few years working in the NICU at Cook Children’s Medical Center. Ruth has worked in the NICU at St. Vincent Healthcare since 2004 and has been a member of the NICU Help Flight Team since 2005. Most recently, Ruth graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Science in Nursing-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

“I am passionate about working in the NICU and advocating for my patients whether they are in our hospital or one of our transport aircraft. I will do my best to listen to concerns and include the family in the individualized care plan for their infant.”

When not working, Ruth enjoys paddle boarding, scuba diving, hiking, reading, a good movie and spending time with her two sons.
