About Bryan R. Blumell

About The Provider

Originally from Southern Alberta, Canada, Dr. Blumell moved to Provo, Utah for his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Blumell completed his residency in rural clinical medicine at Mercy One in Des Moines, Iowa. A board certified physician, Dr. Blumell’s clinical interests include acute, urgent and chronic care.

I love the partnership between physicians and patients, and I attempt to teach so that they can become confident and fully engaged in their own health care as a team. I feel it is an honor to be a part of their lives, ideally lasting over many years.”

Dr. Blumell spends his free time with his wife and infant daughter. He enjoys hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, gardening and traveling.

    Dr. Blumell appears to be following an algorithm that is independent of symptoms or history presented by the patient. There is no individualization of care. Had I not refuse to sign the initial documentation I would not have been granted the one thing that has made a difference, which is the physical therapy sessions.
