About Alexis N. Hokenstad
About The Provider
A North Dakota native, Dr. Hokenstad attended the University of North Dakota for undergrad and medical school. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Hokenstad was fortunate to stay at the Mayo Clinic for her Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship and a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship. After completing her training, Dr. Hokenstad and her husband, a urogynecologist, headed west to Montana. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic oncology, and hospice and palliative care. As a provider, Dr. Hokenstad’s clinical interests are comprehensive gynecologic oncology care for patients with ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers, including surgical management and administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted medications - minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery, and palliative medicine.

Dr. Hokenstad and her husband have four young children. Outside of the office, she enjoys running, golfing, and spending time with her family in the mountains, camping, hiking, and skiing.
